Party: Birthday suit

Nope, not the naked kind of birthday suit, but more on what Rosabelle wore on party day.

This is her reaction when she woke up in the morning and went into the living room to see all the changes to the furniture lay-out, and the decoration and her photos. And...ta-dah! That's our Princess making her grand appearance in her party frock, and since it's Beijing weather, we had to put on a long-sleeved top inside, and wear leggings and long socks to keep her nice and snug. She also let the nanny put on the hair clips for her, and did not even attempt to remove them throughout the day!

The dress is actually courtesy of Marianne Jie Jie, who wore it at 14.5 months old at our wedding in Singapore (carried by my brother in below):

Doesn't our girl look more erm...girl-like...dressed up like this?

Of course, the frock did not deter her from crawling around wherever she wanted...

And making her look all coy and lady-like at times...
