Marking her territory

Whoever said that having a child would just cause his/her stuff to invade and totally take over your home....

is totally, and most absolutely, right.
We took out her huge crawling mat today and placed it in front of the sofa - this massive thing took up the whole floor area, and it's going to be placed permanently there; if not, there will always be the crease lines present if we fold and keep it every day. Wayne made the point that we seldom/never watch TV when she's awake anyway, so radiation from the TV is not an issue, hah!

She was quite entraced by the many colorful pictures, and quickly warmed up to her various toys placed on the mat, of course liking to play with her favourite plastic ball toys.

Nanny said the hard surface will encourage her to sit by herself as she can balance herself better than on our soft leather sofa or the bed, and will be good for her to practise crawling. Well, for now, we still hold/support her slightly when she is sitting, and this is a photo of her trying to follow (and catch) the 不倒翁toy. Yet another (big) space to call her own...

Rosabelle so fast, just reach 6 months starting to stand liao. Think she'll learn to walk fast. You bought a crawling mat too, was it from Sg or China? :) I already have 2 bumper mats, one at ILs place, one at my place but still thinking of buying a 3rd one cos I love it so much. Siao right? ;P

By the way, RaeAnne has the same activity table and she still loves playing with it. She'll turn on and off the switch on her own to listen to the music. Hee. ;)
