Backtrack 26: Why it’s good to have playmates

(Delayed posting due to swine flu.)

So that my mum can save on buying Doraemon tricycles whilst I enjoy a photo opp on other people’s toys.
On 27 May, on our evening walk, one of the mummies let Rosabelle sit on the Doraemon push-along tricycle. At first, she was quite wary and even slightly frightened of the unsecure and wobbly seating. After about 5 seconds, she decided she liked it, and was even more relaxed when I pushed her around in it, touching the handles and the huge, shiny Doraemon head.

As her legs are too short to reach the base, she also very expertly pulled her feet up herself to rest comfortably on the sides of the tricycle, haha!

We had to carry her out when she started wrapping her hands around the shiny head and started sucking on it…
